About Brandon Sharkey

Brandon Sharkey

A native Californian Brandon began performing in front of audiences at the age of 11. He started doing stand-up comedy at 15. After graduating high school (he tests well) Brandon attended UCLA school of Theatre, Film, and Television. There Brandon joined the UCLA Comedy Club and performed Stand-up, Improv and sketch comedy throughout southern California. He eventually moved on to Whittier College earning a degree in Playwriting. After graduation Brandon travelled the U.S. with his original play “always a quarter ’til three” as well as played harmonica in the blues bands “Jeremiah Weeds” and “The Midnight Ghost”. Since then, Brandon has settled in Los Angeles and has worked as an actor, comedian, writer and musician. Presently Brandon holds a position as an Associate Artistic Director for the California Shakespeare Company.
Internationally known for his commercial work, Brandon is a favorite among the Dutch and Colombians for his goofy face and meticulous timing. Aside from commercial work, Brandon has appeared in numerous plays, TV shows and films and has enjoyed producing his own original works as well. Brandon is currently in negotiations to bring his latest original “The R” (working title) to the LA stage…stay tuned.
